Canada 150: Thousands take in Saskatoon fireworks display
An estimated 50,000 people took over Diefenbaker Park in Saskatoon Saturday for the annual Optimist Canada Day Celebration.
It all started with breakfast at 8 a.m. and continued all day with musical performances by Jess Moskaluke, The Tragically Hip tribute band The 100th Meridan and Platinum Blonde.
The main attraction – the fireworks.
