Cameco reports fourth consecutive quarterly loss

Despite taking action to drastically reduce its overheard costs, Cameco Corp. continues to struggle amid a weak uranium market and on Friday reported its fourth consecutive quarterly loss.
The Saskatoon-based uranium miner said it lost $124 million on revenues totalling $486 million in the third quarter of 2017, comapred to a $142 million profit on $670 million in sales during the same period last year.
