Cab driver, woman charged after assault and stabbing

Saskatoon police laid charges against two people after a stabbing on Thursday night.
Around 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a report that a man had been injured in the 500 block of Avenue M North, city police said in a news release.
When officers arrived, they found a 34-year-old cab driver suffering from a stab wound. The suspect, a 30-year-old woman, was found nearby and was charged with assault and a breach of probation.
The cab driver was hospitalized and is expected to make a full recovery
