Byelection candidates in place

Five candidates have been officially nominated for the upcoming byelection in the provincial constituency of Saskatoon Fairview.
The five candidates, representing five registered political parties, officially submitted their nomination papers as of the legislated deadline of Tuesday at 2 p.m.
They are: Vicki Mowat, NDP; David Prokopchuk, PC; Taylor Bolin, Green Party; Shah Rukh, Liberal; Cameron Scott, Sask. Party.
The byelection is Sept. 7, with five days of advance voting: Aug.31 and Sept
