Biking on sidewalk ticket leads to weapons, theft charge

An attempt to ticket a man for riding his bike on the sidewalk resulted in city police laying stolen property and weapon charges.
At roughly 1:40 p.m. on Monday, members of the Saskatoon Police Service’s bike unit witnessed a man riding his bike on the sidewalk in the area of Avenue G South and 20th Street West, according to a police news release.
