Ban on pruning elm trees in effect across Saskatchewan

Those looking to prune their elm trees in Saskatoon will have to wait as the city is reminding residents that a provincial ban on elm tree pruning is in effect.
The ban will be in place until Aug. 31 and is aimed at preventing the spread of Dutch Elm Disease (DED) in the province, according to a City of Saskatoon news release.
