Bail denied for accused in Saskatoon white powder scares

A woman accused of sending dozens of suspicious packages and bomb threats in and around Saskatoon will remain in custody.
Justice Brenton Klause denied bail for 31-year-old Alexa Emerson at Saskatoon Provincial Court Friday afternoon.
Speaking outside of court, Crown prosecutor Jennifer Claxton-Viczko said she was pleased with Klause's decision.
"It was clear to me that he did a very thorough job of reviewing the evidence that was placed before him," she said.
