Axe through windshield causes minor injuries near Plunkett

A driver received minor injuries after an axe punctured their windshield while they were driving on Highway 16 earlier this month.
On May 16, at roughly 6:15 p.m., Humboldt RCMP responded to a vehicle collision near Plunkett. When officers arrived, they learned the passenger truck, which was travelling westbound, had been hit with an axe, according to a RCMP news release.
Police say the tool came through the windshield of the truck resulting in “extensive damage” to the vehicle.
