Avenue E structure fire brought under control

A structure fire at 1829 Avenue E North was intentionally started, a Saskatoon Fire Department investigator determined.
The fire department received a 911 call about the fire at 9:33 p.m. on Saturday. Three engines, an aerial ladder truck and a rescue truck responded to the address, where firefighters encountered smoke and flame at the rear of the building.
Firefighters had the fire under control in 15 minutes, after initiating an exterior fire attack.
