Author believes a little gratitude can go a long way toward happiness

Marissa Alarcon believes that grateful people are happier people. She believes this so strongly that she’s written a book about it: The Gratitude-Driven Life.
Alarcon, who is executive assistant at the Catholic Health Association of Saskatchewan (CHAS), got the idea for the book after attending a Critical Conversation at St. Paul’s Hospital hosted by the Catholic Health Association. The presenter, retired nurse Maureen Preston, spoke on the topic of ‘Gratitude.’
