Attempted murder accused denies wanting to kill man he shot in the head

A Saskatoon man on trial for attempted murder says he was very high, and therefore not in the right “state of mind” when he told a police officer he wanted to kill the man he shot in the head. 
Dale Cory Ahpay said he injected methamphetamine at his aunt’s house in the time between the shooting and his arrest on June 22, 2015, but hid it from police because he didn’t want them to know he had drugs.
