Assault charges against Saskatoon police officers withdrawn

The Crown has withdrawn charges against two Saskatoon police officers who accused of assault following a traffic stop more than a year ago.In a news release in May, city police announced constables Cailin Link and Angela McEwan had been charged with common assault following a traffic stop on Nov. 7, 2017. 
Police said the operator of the vehicle filed a complaint with the police service, which then notified the Saskatchewan Public Complaints Commission (PCC).
