Arrests made after RCMP standoff in North Battleford following firearm complaint

Two men were taken into police custody after a standoff with RCMP at a North Battleford home following a firearm complaint.
“Multiple RCMP members” were on the scene Saturday morning in the 2000 block of 101st Street in north-central North Battleford, according to police in a news release.
Following the conclusion of the incident shortly after noon, a police presence was expected in the area in the immediate aftermath.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
