Arrests - Fraud Investigation - Economic Crime Section

The Saskatoon Police Service Economic Crime Section has charged two men, following a fraud investigation spanning two years.On March 1, 2021, police received the report of falsified banking documents that were submitted with several mortgage applications, at a Saskatoon banking institution. After further investigation, the documents were traced back to mortgages submitted by two Saskatoon realtors. A total of eight applications, with false documents, were discovered at one financial institution.
