Armed Robbery - 3900 block 8th St. E

One man is in custody following an armed robbery this afternoon.At approximately 2:20 p.m., April 4, 2018, Saskatoon Police responded to a report of robbery in progress at a convenience store in the 3900 block of 8th Street East. The suspect had fled the scene prior to Police arrival. He had threatened a cashier with a knife and left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. Twenty minutes later, officers observed a man matching the suspect description in the 1000 block of McKercher Drive. O
