Another delay possible for SaskPower transmission line
Saskatchewan’s electrical utility says it’s “too early” to know if quality issues found in steel towers intended for use in a 200-kilometre transmission line will lead to further delays, but replacing or repairing “tens of millions” of dollars worth of welded steel is unlikely to add to the project’s $223 million cost estimate.
