Alleged car thief shoots himself in leg

A reported car thief suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his leg during what appears to be an armed car theft gone wrong on Wednesday.
Warman RCMP indicate at roughly 4:20 a.m., they received a complaint from a person claiming they had been threatened at gunpoint while at a gas station in Saskatoon, according to an RCMP news release.
RCMP said the man was originally asked by the man to drive him outside of Saskatoon while threatening him with what police said was a sawed-off shotgun.
