Al-Katib gets entrepreneur of the year nod

Murad Al-Katib, founder of AGT Foods, bested a field of 59 candidates for the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 on Saturday.
Al-Katib was named this year’s winner at a ceremony in Monaco. He was picked from among the 59 country winners from 49 countries also in contention for the award.
The decision to give the award to Al-Katib was unanimous, according to the chair of the judging panel, Jim Nixon, who is the chairman and CEO of Nixon Energy Investments.
