AIDS Saskatoon makes pamphlets on HIV and Hep C in Cree and Dene languages

AIDS Saskatoon has developed pamphlets in Cree and Dene to teach people in central and northern Saskatchewan about HIV and Hepatitis C.
“Aboriginal languages are on the rise, so it definitely makes sense for us to have them in those languages. I think it’s going to allow people to talk to elders in a way that they can understand the causes of HIV so they can disseminate it into the communities, because that’s where it all starts,” executive director Jason Mercredi sa
