Agricultural education programs thrive in Saskatchewan

For the first time, the College of Agriculture and Bioresources at the University of Saskatchewan has had to put a cap on one of its programs.
“Our challenge in the past has been making sure we are attracting students to our program,” says Fran Walley, assistant dean.
The College has enjoyed tremendous growth over the past five to six years, Walley says. She traces it back to some strategic planning in 2012 that set a goal of 850 students in the five years going forward.
