Aggravated Assault - Ruth St. & Lorne Ave.

Two people are facing a number of charges following an altercation with a cab driver on Saturday night.At approximately 10:15 p.m., August 12, 2023, Patrol officers responded to Ruth Street and Lorne Avenue after a cab driver reported a physical altercation with two passengers. A nearby man fleeing the area was identified as the suspect who was also reported to not have paid for the cab ride. Officers pursued the suspect on-foot and arrested him without further incident.
