Ageless Santana shows Saskatoon 'you cannot fake the funk'

Carlos Santana sauntered unassumingly onto the stage at SaskTel Centre to start his concert. Then, during the final song of the encore, he wandered off the stage.
So he’s not much for entrances or exits. The veteran guitar master more than makes up for it in between.
The 70-year-old and his band Santana, which first rose to fame with a 1969 performance at Woodstock, brought a joyful and lively two and a half hours of Latin-tinged blues to Saskatoon Tuesday night.
