Afghanistan War plaque proposed for Saskatoon Cenotaph
The longest war in Canada’s history could soon be commemorated with a plaque on the Saskatoon Cenotaph.
The North Saskatchewan Regiment, which participated in Canada’s 13-year mission in Afghanistan, applied to the city to add a plaque to the monument commemorating the war, a City of Saskatoon report says.
