Above average temperatures could continue into October, says Environme

If you thought it felt hotter on Sunday than it had all month, Environment Canada’s numbers are on your side.
The mercury hit its maximum high for July on Sunday, reaching 33.2 C, edging out the peak reached a few days earlier on July 27 of 32.9 C. 
The above average temperatures the city experienced in July are expected to linger throughout the summer and into the fall, according to Environment Canada’s latest long-range forecasts.
