70-year-old man dead after boat capsizes on Lake Diefenbaker

A 70-year-old man from Saskatoon is dead following a suspected drowning on Lake Diefenbaker near Danielson Provincial Park on Monday.
According to a news release from RCMP, members of the Outlook detachment responded to a complaint of a capsized boat on Monday at around 10:45 a.m.
RCMP say two men were in the boat at the time it capsized. One swam to shore and requested help from a nearby boater while the 70-year-old was found dead in the water.RCMP will not be releasing the man’s name.
