She dreamed of being a scientist. Île-à-la-Crosse helped make her dream come true

Haley Burnouf says growing up in Île-à-la-Crosse, Sask., inspired her to pursue a career in science and engineering. Her work at Saskatchewan Polytechnic was recognized with a Reconciliation in Action award, which she says is a testament to her family and community.
