Sask. correctional facilities have mistakenly released 5 inmates due to 'administrative errors' in 2026

In March, a 26-year-old inmate was mistakenly released in North Battleford due to an "administrative error." The public was notified three months later when the error was discovered. The inmate was one of five released from provincial correctional facilities due to administrative errors in the first half of 2026.
