Recording made during murder investigation key evidence in Saskatoon sexual assault trial

A man who choked a Saskatoon woman unconscious and sexually assaulted her is behind bars again after his appeal failed. One of the key pieces of evidence came after Kenneth Dauphinais talked to a tattoo artist about the assault, but didn't know he was being recorded to help police with a completely separate investigation into him — a murder case.
