Assembly of First Nations wants federal UNDRIP plan delayed, slams consultation process

The Assembly of First Nations is urging the Canadian government to delay tabling its action plan on the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples by a year, after a working draft of the plan met with disappointment and resistance at a chiefs' conference this week in Ottawa.
