Special Olympics Sarnia celebrates local athletes

Special Olympics Sarnia is honouring four local athletes who recently captured medals while representing Team Ontario at the Special Olympics Canada Summer Games in Medicine Hat, Alberta.A celebration will take place on Saturday afternoon, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., at Imperial City Brew House.Chris Carpeneto won gold in standing long jump and bronze in the mini javelin, while Joanna Edwards captured bronze medals in the 100-metre race and running long jump.Noah Pyke won two golds in 10
