SIU investigating after OPP cruiser collides with vehicle in North Middlesex

Ontario's police watchdog has invoked its mandate following a serious crash in North Middlesex involving an OPP cruiser.At around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, a passenger vehicle and an OPP cruiser collided at the intersection of Nairn Road and Centre Road.Members of the Middlesex County OPP, Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and North Middlesex Fire Services responded.Police said both the driver of the passenger vehicle and an OPP officer were taken to hospital with serious injuries.The Special Inve
