Sarnia hospice giving 19th-century home $280K facelift

St. Joseph’s Hospice Sarnia-Lambton is doing $280,000 in exterior work on a 127-year-old home housing its offices and programs.The Queen Anne-style home, known as the “Queen of Christina Street North,” was built in 1888 for lawyer Charles Garvey and donated in 2006 to the hospice by the Gordon family and its foundation.
