'Play ball': New batting cage, bleachers open in Petrolia

PETROLIA – A new batting cage and bleachers at a baseball diamond here were officially unveiled Saturday.Petrolia Mayor Brad Loosley, along with several local baseball players and members of a baseball-loving family, cut a baseball-themed ribbon to mark the opening of the new facilities at one of the diamonds in Greenwood Park.“I would like to officially announce them as open for use,” Loosley said shortly before the ribbon cutting. “Congratulations.
