Ministry approves funding to expand Forest Catholic elementary school

Funding for a $6-1-million expansion of an overflowing Catholic elementary school in Forest has been approved by Ontario’s Education Ministry.Construction of an addition to St. John Fisher elementary school could begin next summer, if all goes well, said Amy Park, chief financial and operating officer for the St. Clair District Catholic School Board.“It’s pretty exciting news,” Park said. “We’re thrilled to bring something to Forest.”Funding approved by
