Rimbey area family homeless after early morning fire

A fire broke out at a rural home in Ponoka County, southwest of Edmonton, around 2:00 a.m. Thursday morning. Fire officials from the nearby town of Rimbey, were called to the home and put out the blaze, but not before the flames destroyed the house.
