These police divers aren’t just bearing winter, they’re jumping right into it.
Marine, dive and trails unit officers from the Ottawa Police Service tweeted this week about their week-long annual training which includes going under ice and to depths of 100 feet.
The Ottawa Paramedic Service’s marine unit also shared photos of the training on the St. Lawrence River at Rockport, which included police divers from Peel, Toronto and the OPP.
