Yaprak Baltacioglu named Carleton University chancellor

Yaprak Baltacioglu has been named as Carleton University’s 12th chancellor.
Baltacioglu, who most recently served as deputy minister at Treasury Board Secretariat, has spent 29 years in the public service. She retired from the government in April. During her career she has been recognized by the Public Policy Forum, and has twice been recognized by the Women’s Executive Network as one of Canada’s Top 100 most powerful women.
