Wounded man faces charges in Overbrook shooting

Police investigating a daylight shooting in the Overbrook district Thursday have laid a string of firearms charges against a 24-year-old man who turned up at the hospital with gunshot wounds.
His injuries aren’t considered life-threatening.
Patrol officers were called to Queen Mary Street near Overbrook Park at about 4:04 p.m. by reports of a shooting and gathered descriptions of the people and vehicles involved.
