Woman hurt, two arrested after Kanata South crash, fire

Two men are under arrest, police allege, after fleeing on foot from a vehicle that crashed in Kanata South before catching fire Monday morning.
A woman found in the vehicle was taken to the trauma centre with head and neck injuries.
The fire department first alerted commuters to avoid the area of Old Richmond Road and Hope Side Road at about 9 a.m. noting that no one was trapped and the occupants had been able to get out of the vehicle.
