Woman dead, man in custody

An elderly woman is dead and a man in custody after police responded to a disturbance on Range Road early Friday morning. The call to an address between Mann Avenue and Templeton Street in Sandy Hill came in about 5:30 a.m.Paramedics declared the woman was dead of “traumatic injuries.”
