Winter storm warning issued; snow, ice pellets, freezing rain on the way

A messy wallop of snow and ice and freezing rain will come a bit later than expected, but is due to reach Eastern Ontario Saturday evening.
Environment Canada warns that Saturday night’s storm will be followed by freezing rain on Sunday with “significant accumulations” possible. The winter storm warning for Ottawa South, Metcalfe and Richmond was issued at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday.
The storm, which is coming across the U.S. Midwest, has already dumped 15 cm to 25 cm of snow
