Will Boeing take a pass on Canada's fighter jet competition?

A number of journalists, including myself, have pointed out that Boeing representatives did not attend the Jan. 22 industry day in Ottawa for the new RCAF fighter jet project. It was the first such industry day and attendance was not required.
But Boeing’s absence has led some to question whether the company will take part in the upcoming competition. That, however, might be jumping to conclusions.
