Westfest celebrates 15 years

Westfest celebrates its 15th anniversary in another new location: the Tom Brown Arena at 141 Bayview Rd.
It’s the sixth move in 15 years for the free, community arts festival, and producer Elaina Martin hopes it’s the last one. “We’re going to see how it goes, but if it goes the way I think it will, I think we’ll stay there,” she says. After two years at Laroche Park, the festival moved to make way for a city plan to renew the park.
