Westboro Beach cleared after pair spotted with apparent gun

Police say they’ve arrested two men after witnesses spotted an apparently armed pair at Westboro Beach Sunday.
Police were alerted at 12:49 p.m. and the beach cleared while officers located them. The two men, both 18, were arrested and a weapon was recovered. Charges had not been laid.
A police spokesman on Monday would not say whether the weapon seized was genuine, saying that the information is part of the ongoing investigation.#westboro beach re-opens with 2 arrests. pic.twitter.co
