Weekend six-hour parking begins on streets without posted limits

Motorists will be treated to more free parking on streets without posted time limits starting this weekend.
The City of Ottawa will start six-hour parking limits on those streets between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekends and holidays, increasing the current maximum by three hours.
The city consulted the public about the parking proposal before bringing it to the transportation committee and council for approval last September. Now it’s time to put the new bylaw into force. The rules go into ef
