Weather office warning: Freezing rain expected Sunday afternoon, evening

The bad news is it’s looking like off-and-on flurries for most of the weekend, leading to freezing rain on Sunday.
The good news, for most folks, is that it’s not a workday, so traffic shouldn’t be a problem.
The weather office issued a warning Saturday afternoon to expect freezing rain in the capital beginning Sunday afternoon and extending into the evening.
Earlier, Environment Canada had issued a special weather statement to say the capital should expect about two cm of snow
