Weather: Get out your rubber boots, rain is in the forecast for Saturday

There is a chance of freezing rain early Saturday morning, changing to showers in the afternoon. 
The day will start out a chilly -10 C, the wind making it feel -16 C, then gradually climbing to a balmy high of 4 C. The overnight low will dip down to -4 C. 
The showers should end near midnight.
The rising temperatures will close the entire 7.8-km Rideau Canal Skateway Saturday night at 11 p.m., to preserve the ice conditions until temperatures drop.
