Weather: Blustery day with up to four cm of snow possible

A foul weather system retains its icy grip on the region. But it may be slipping.
After 12.6 cm of snow fell on Ottawa Tuesday, Environment Canada is forecasting another two to four cm Wednesday before periods of snow end near noon with a 40 per cent chance of more flurries during the afternoon and evening.
The high is expected to be a blustery 2 C with northwesterly winds at 30 km/h gusting to 50 that won’t easy off until evening. The low is -5 C with a windchill of -11.
