Watson surrounds himself with Alfredsson, other athletes for campaign sign-hammering

Jim Watson on Thursday surrounded himself with athletes during a ceremonial sign-hammering event, including Daniel Alfredsson, who has made at least two campaign appearances for the mayoral incumbent this year.
They were at the Island Park Drive home of philanthropist Dave Smith to install Watson’s first lawn sign, although the sign was already hammered in for the photo opportunity and Watson’s signs were seen on the lawns of other nearby homes.
