When the Ottawa area was devastated by tornadoes last Sept. 21, countless lives were upended.
Of the 11 buildings on Katrina Anderson’s Kinburn farm, for example, 10 were hit by the twisters — one so badly that the Andersons had to use a drone to find it, ultimately on their neighbour’s property. Farm equipment was destroyed, tools scattered to who knows where, and fences blown away.
